The Down Low

We mostly only consider submissions for digital publishing. If you’d like to collaborate on our print magazines, let us know HERE. All work must be original and unpublished.

What can I submit?

  • We only consider finalized work for editorials and essays

  • We only accept pitches for the following

    • They must be interviews or event coverage, no personal narratives, fiction, poetry, reviews, or anything else

      • Include your angle, outline, portfolio, and if you have access

      • If we approve the talent or event, we’ll publish it

    • You can send us new music and upcoming event flyers to potentially be included in our weekly round-ups

How to submit:

  • Email hello@hotgirlzine.com with SUBMISSION in the subject line

  • Include ALL full names and @s of everyone who helped bring it to life

  • Googles Drive Folders or DropBox may be sent after acceptance
